Congratulations to Allie Bunnell who won our second annual Shades of Fall photo contest with her image from Upper Buttermilk Falls. Allie was one of 18 entrants who submitted a total of 29 photos. Check out all of the entries here.
“This is the first time C-OFOKLA has attempted this kind of event, and it was wonderful,” noted C-OFOKLA president Tarki Heath. “Having the craft show attendees participate in the photo contest was an exceptional way to draw folks in. We were able to talk to so many new faces about our lakes and our work. It was fun, and rewarding.”
Tarki and Colleen Zawadzki staffed the booth for the event and sold most of the packs of note cards that we had available. In addition to the photo contest voting and card sales, the table featured educational material on C-OFOKLA’s mission and activities.
For those who did not get to the fair, we have a few card sets left. So, if you are looking for some local, high-quality yet inexpensive gifts ($5 for a set of 5) please contact us through the contact form.
Keep an eye out for our next photo contest which will be coming up over the winter. We plan to have attendees at one of our Speakers Series select the winner.
